Loïc Mazeau
Hi ! I'm Loïc, a 24 years old photographer from Toulouse, France.
I have always been amazed by the wild world surrounding me. Being alone with nature is something that makes me fulfilled, inspired, and feeling right. I started very early to try and capture this feeling with my father's gear. I think a lot started with him. He's been a mountain lover and photographer for decades, and he must have transmitted the virus to me.
Becoming a vet in France is time consuming so I left photography aside for a while, until I went to Australia in my second year of vet school and bought a camera for the trip, a Panasonic GX80. I discovered once more how trying to capture moments, places and the emotion they give me in a picture let me remember this emotion and share it forever. It soon became an ultimate and unique way to express both this relation I have with the surrounding world and my creativity.
I have been photographing the world around me for 3 years now. I often go to the Pyrénées mountains, but you'll find some photos from my trip in Australia or from different trips in France and, I hope soon, further.
I now shoot with a Canon EOS RP, a RF 35mm f/1.8, an EF 100-400mmf/4.5-5.6 L II, and lenses borrowed to my dad : the EF 24-105mm f/4 L II and the TC2.
